It is my deep desire and hope that I will never fail my Lord, and that at all times, but especially right now, that I will be full of courage, so that Christ will be exalted in my whole being,

in everything I do or say, whether I live or die.  Philippians 1:20

With a desire to be an answer to Jesus' prayer in John 17:20-23, we must not settle for anything less than the UNITY Jesus prayed for all future believers to have...UNITY, not UNIFORMITY...ONENESS, not SAMENESS.  We do not all have to believe exactly the same to be a part of the body of Christ!  In fact, UNITY & DIVERSITY are the biblical keys!!

Also, instead of allowing the enemy to DIVIDE us around approximately 5% of beliefs that we disagree on, it is time that we UNITE around the 95% of what we do agree on and leave the rest for discussion in ivory towers.

So in that spirit, we UNITE, STRATEGIZE, & COOPERATE together within the boundaries of the basic doctrines listed below in order to fulfill the Great Commission (Mt. 28:18-20) among young people:

WE BELIEVE...

=  the Bible to be the infallible Word of God, that it is His holy and inspired Word, and that it is our only source of supreme and final authority.

=  in one God, eternally existent in three persons:  Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

=  Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary.  He led a sinless human life, took on Himself all our sins, died on a Cross, rose again, and is seated at the right hand of the Father as our Mediator and Advocate.

=  that all mankind everywhere is sinful and hopelessly lost and face the judgment of God, and needs to enter into a redemptive relationship with Jesus Christ through His blood shed on the Cross.

=  that Christ rose from the dead, that He will return and establish His eternal Kingdom as He promised.

=  in holy Christian living, and that we must have concern for the hurts and social needs of our fellow men.

=  we must dedicate ourselves daily to the service of our Lord and submit to His authority over our lives.

=  in using every modern means of communication available to us to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world.

=  that a young person’s Christian growth is best facilitated by the teaching, worshipping, nurturing, and mentoring of a Great Commission Church.
